The Voice Project

The Voice Project looks to build an advocacy-competent rural health workforce through training workshops, support for efforts where possible, and strengthening rural healthcare provider associations.

As direct witnesses to healthcare failures, healthcare workers are key in preventing or challenging violations to patients’ rights to health. Yet lack of knowledge or support and risks of victimization often prevent effective action. The Voice Project seeks to change that.

“There’s really no such thing as the ‘voiceless’. There are only the deliberately silenced, or the preferably unheard”

– Arundhati Roy
